In addition to fishing, there are plenty of other water-based activities to enjoy. The park has several boat launches, and visitors can rent a pontoon, canoe, or kayak from the Mosquito Lake Marina or visit Twisted Creek Outdoor Adventures for your guided or themed kayak tour.

Hike the Trails and Pack a Picnic
For those who prefer to stay on land, Mosquito Lake State Park also has many things to offer. The park has plenty of hiking trails, which wind their way through the woods and provide breathtaking views of the lake. There are also several picnic areas throughout the park, which are perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends.
Tip: Pick up a pizza from Vasilios or stop at Country Porch Winery or Mecca Cones and Conies, all local restaurants around the lake.
Bring Fido to the Dog Park
Cooperation Station is a fenced dog park that is open year-round and free. The park offers your best friend plenty of room to romp. One side is for smaller dogs, and the other for larger dogs with lake access for a swim, and both sections have plenty of room for chasing a ball and frisbee.
Book a Yurt or Campsite
For those who want to spend the night at Mosquito Lake State Park, there are plenty of camping options available. The park has over 240 campsites, which range from primitive tent sites to full hookup RV sites. There are also two yurts available for rent, which offer a unique and comfortable camping experience. Mosquito Lake is a delightful backdrop for an evening campfire and s’mores.
Tip: Book the yurts well in advance; they rent quickly.
Disc Golf with Friends
Disc golf is a fantastic way to get outside and enjoy some fresh air and exercise. With several courses to choose from, players can enjoy a challenging game while taking in the scenic beauty of the area.
