Old Avalon Golf Course
Old Avalon Golf Course, owned by the city of Warren, has a classic design layout. It has been a favorite in the Northeast Ohio area for thousands of golfers. Known for its small greens, the front nine begins with a difficult starting hole but the back nine is where the course stands out. Tree-lined fairways, three two-tiered greens, and the loop of holes #11-15, known as The Noose, make the back nine quite difficult. The Old Course plays to a par of 71.
Old Avalon's driving range is one of the best public practice facilities in the area. Other amenities include PGA golf instruction, club fitting, and a pavilion that can accommodate up to 150 guests for golf outings and parties.
