Noodlefun

Have you ever had a bowl of ramen? No, not from a microwave. I love the instant noodles as much as the next guy, however, my mind was blown the first time I slurped a bowl that was crafted with love and quality ingredients. I still remember that first broth sip, it was like nothing I had ever tasted. I was pulled away from my work as a chef in Cleveland by the Chef/Owner of the restaurant I worked at. My Chef said "follow me", and proceeded to lead me down Euclid Ave. to a now defunct noodle shop. My boss's purpose had nothing to do with noodles, but that's the only part of that meeting I choose to remember. After those chewy noodles, piping hot broth, and savory pork I was hooked. 

I've spent the last ten years seeking out anything ramen. I've read books, I've slurped noodles, all in an effort to perfect my ramen. I took awhile for the truth to hit me... Ramen isn't meant to be perfected, it's meant to be an expression of who's making it. I will always be "practicing" my ramen, and as long as I continue to grow and evolve, so too will my ramen. 

That brings us to noodlefun. I consider myself blessed to be able to continue my ramen practice for a broader audience. With noodlefun, I want nothing more than to create a place for friends to gather, or grab a quick bowl of noodles and get on with their day. I want to serve your first bowl of "non-instant" ramen, I hope to become your favorite bowl of ramen, and maybe I'll serve someone else that life changing bowl of ramen too.
