21st Annual Vintage Motorcycle Exhibit, “Roll Your Own” at National Packard Museum
“Roll Your Own” features 30 different bikes assembled in a salute to the men and women whose hands-on efforts preserve motorcycle history. Some of the bikes in the exhibit were restored by their owners to pristine, original condition while others started out as pieces and parts before being transformed into unique, one -of -a kind machines.
The diverse exhibit features some very rare, very early restored antique motorcycles including the only surviving Sylvester & Jones motorcycle built in 1902, a 1912 Indian belt-drive, and a 1912 English-built Douglas. In addition, a 1913 NSU Special owned and under restoration by Bruce Williams will be featured in an educational video produced by Street Scene of Armstrong Neighborhood Channel.
There is so much to learn, so much to discover, so much history to explore, and it is all waiting for you at the National Packard Museum!
