Clarence Darrow MetroPark
This 32-acre park sits next to the Trumbull Campus of Kent State University and is the home of Young's Run Disc Golf Course. Free to the public, this playing area features a challenging 18-hole permanent course and an 18-hole tournament layout.

Mahoning River Water Trail
This trail stretches nearly 23 miles of the East Branch of the Mahoning River and provides locations for paddling, fishing and nature observation.

Western Reserve Greenway
Multi-purpose, linear, paved trail has been designed for walking, hiking, biking and horseback-riding. Surrounded by nature, hikers, bicyclists, horseback riders, inline skaters and joggers can all enjoy this trail.

142 acres developed to allow the best balance between visitor access to nature including animals, plants and other natural features.
Eastlake MetroPark
This park boasts a sledding hill in the winter and a connector trail to the existing Turkey Run Trail that borders a portion of the east side of Mosquito Lake. This park is also a good location for hiking, walking, cross-country skiing, and nature observation.

Thomas A Swift MetroPark
12-acre park located at the intersection of the Mahoning River and the proposed Western Reserve Heritage Trail between Youngstown and Cleveland.

This nearly 18-acre park, opened in 1920, is the oldest park in the system.

Shenango Wildlife Area
This nearly 5,000-acre wildlife area stretches northwest along Pymatuning Creek from Orangeville to Kinsman and crosses through four townships.
Bazetta Township Park
Enjoy baseball and softball fields, picnic facilities, grills and playgrounds.
Mosquito Creek Wildlife Area
9,021-acre waterfowl-management area is located west of the Mosquito Creek Reservoir and includes lands that are flat and poorly drained as well as 830 acres of marsh and two ponds.
Courthouse Square Park
Picnic facilities, a musical performance venue, and home to special events and festivals.
Howland Wildlife Preserve & Mosquito Creek Boardwalk Trail
Access from Howland Township Park.
Grand River Wildlife Area
7,231 acres, including the Grand River, five tributary streams, 12 ponds, 15 man-made marshes, and numerous beaver impoundments.
Cooperation Station Dog Park
This public off-leash exercise facility allows dogs to run, play and socialize in a safe right next to Mosquito Lake.
Mosquito Lake State Park
Nearly 4,000-acre park with opportunities for boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, camping, hunting, picnicking, snowmobiling, ice fishing, cross-country skiiing, and birding.
